INCORRECT PRICES CHARGED FOR ITEMS PURCHASED AND VAT USED AS THE EXCUSE

I went to purchase two items at Woolworths Clearwater. The prices on the items indicated R299.00 VAT inclusive and R79.95 VAT inclusive. When I got to the till the prices rung up were R301.62 and R80.65. When I queried the price difference I was given the excuse of the increase in VAT by 1% being the reason for the price difference. This is not acceptable as: 1. The price on the items indicate that they are inclusive of VAT, which is the cost to the customer irrespective of whether the percentage is 14 or 15%. 2. There was no signs visible anywhere indicating that the pricing on the shelves were "incorrect". 3. Considering today is already the 17 of April one would think that a company like Woolworths would have made sure that all pricing on merchandise would reflect correctly by the 1st of April.

I find this totally unacceptable as all other retail stores have made the necessary adjustments, why can Woolworths not get it right!
