Incorrect price tag policy not app****

Woolworths east rand mall. I would like to know if the incorrect price tag policy does not apply to this store? I went to buy there today and they scanned an higher price at the till than the tag. When I enquired, I was simply refunded the higher amount so I can repay at the lower price per the tag. None of the stuff that assisted mentioned anything about such policy to me. Does the policy to get the item free not apply at Wolies anymore?
