*********** staff at the Woolworths call centre
So I received an sms on 12 July 2018 informing me that my WW credit card is waiting for collection at Woolies WFS Pietersburg Savanna. I didn't request that, instead had confirmed that the card be sent to Woolies Lephalale Mall. To top it all, I tried communicating with the customer care services to report the mistake, but this system is utmost user unfriendly. I sent them my ID number upon which I received the following reply: Woolworths Financial Services is committed to giving you, our valued client, exceptional service at all times. We would like to offer our sincere apology for any displeasure caused from the situation described below. Kindly be advised that the Woolworths store in Lephalale is not one of our card delivery stores. Please provide us with the name of your nearest store from the attached list. Alternatively, we can request for the card to be sent to the address of your choice. Please note, a courier fee of R 151.31 will be charged and billed to your credit card account for the delivery of the card to your chosen address. I then rep**** as follows: Once again, your information about the stores for delivery of cards is really not relevant. Now I have to pay to have the damn card delivered to a physical address? Eish, what joke is this! I suppose I don't have any choice, and just for interest sake, the Woolworths store at Savanna Polokwane is like 300km away from Lephalale. So you know what I think? The lady that called me in the first place doesn't even know how to pass that important information to me about Lephalale not being on the delivery list? She should be fired for being so *********** or better still, recover the courier cost from her salary. Simple as that.
