Incompetence

On the 21st of March 2015- Human rights day- after purchasing appliances from another store and walking across the mall carrying the appliances as this particular store has no trolleys- I went into Woolworths to purchase groceries and a few other items. At the entrance was an unoccupied trolley with a guard standing next to it, my partner asked the guard if we could use it and he refused. I then back to ask for the trolley, at this point a trolley collector outsourced by Woolworths was approaching with more trolleys, I then turned to ask him for a trolley and he too refused. An argument broke out and the trolley collector man-handled me and pushed the stack of trolleys that he had been pushing into me.

The manager approached and spoke to the trolley collector. I laid a formal complaint but haven't heard anything from the manager- Dorothy and the person who was investigating- Aza as she has since resigned. This situation is disappointing as it was clear that \people"like myself are not welcome at affluent places such as Melrose and aren't taken seriously. Its such a terrible thing to treat people badly because they don't fit the profile of people who presumably shop there"""
