Inappropriate service

I have just been to the Woolworths in Somerset mall & I got the worst service. I was returning a shoe I bought a month ago on my account and the cashier called supervisor(Anneline) to ask if I can have the amount credited back into my account since I bought the shoes on account anyway but I lost the slip she refused and told me on the back of the slip it says so they have fo give me a gift card. Both kept looking @ my card more than 3 times and then back at me as id I did something wrong , Anneline was speaking to me as if shes speaking to a child even went as far as asking do I want to return the shoe or not thwn moved away from the tills , this is not the first time that im being served with a stinking attitude @ the store your staff lacks compassion and they most of the time irritated by customers unlike the Woolworths in town and tygervalley mall please take your staff on training to treat customers decently, be professional and respect us . There's nothing on the slip that says account purchases cannot be credited back into the account.why must we bw forced with giftcards we dont want this is unfair.I want this credited back into my account or I close my account.
