Ignorance

I app**** for a Woolworths store card which was declined online. I called to find out the reasons and 3 payslips were requested to appeal the decision. The card was then declined on affordability. The conclusion was that in terms of credit repayments at the credit bureau deducted from my nett salary I could not afford the card. The point I could not get across is that the largest repayment is for a loan from my employer which is deducted from my gross salary. This means that once my nett salary is received the loan has already been paid as shown on my payslip. Woolworths however insisted that if a repayment is listed at the bureau it needs to be deducted from the nett salary. Who on earth pays 1 instalment twice? On Wednesday (16/08) I was advised that one of the underwriters, Chad, would call me but that hasn't happened. I also requested a letter detailing the reason for the decline as is my right according to the NCA. I no longer want the ******* account, just that letter. I will request that letter on every platform until I receive it.
