Ice sculpture Sunday

<p>I was on my way out of the mall and popped past the woollies cafe counter to get my usual frosted latte. The barista took my order. I paid then took his time making my order. When it came back in a takeaway cup it came back partly filling the take away cup and what looked like a tetras ice sculptor in the cup. I alerts him that there was something wrong as I would not be able to sip this through a straw and the volume was inadequate. He then proceeded to ask me what can he do to it to make it drinkable. I said it needed some milk or something then he looked at me disgruntled and said we only use water. I am not the barista. I do not know what goes into a cup. The think that's gets to me is that I could easily have gone down the road and got the expected take away R8 cheaper from a competetor where the barista actually knows what he/she is doing and not asking the customer for advice. I eventually got my take away but I will definitely think twice before going back and getting another one. </p>
