I vow to never shop at Woolworths again!

To say that I'm disappointed is an understatement. I have never been more disrespected in my entire life. More than a month ago, my husband and I purchased our favourite double cream strawberry yoghurt from Woolworths Food at the Engen garage, Observatory. That same evening my partner dished me some yoghurt. As I enjoyed the yoghurt, I realised a strange taste in my mouth. To my complete horror it was some kind of tablet. The next morning we took the entire yoghurt tub and tablet back to the store it was purchased at. Ernest, the store manager refunded our money for the yogurt and said that it will be sent back to Woolworths Food Technologists for further investigation. The next day I was contacted my Ernest manager and felt a bit better that there was movement with my complaint. Days passed and Woolworths employee contacted me to say they received my complaint and that feedback will be provided. What shook me was the fact that she asked me was what happened to the tablet. When I asked her how can she ask me that because I handed everything over to the store manager. The surprise in her voice was tangible. Today, I just received a R160 voucher from Woolworths. Not even the damn decency to call and advise on the outcome of the investigation. I just get shut up with a lousy R160, I can't even buy their milk with that money. I still cont know what tablet was found in their product. I couldn't gotten an allergic reaction to it or worse had fatal consequences because of it. I should have gone to digital Social media and tagged Nico, maybe then you would've had more decency to show your customers more respect as a generational Woolworths consumer than to be shut up when a lousy R160 as if that's all my complaint and I are worth.
