I can't believe this is Woolies' - Poor Quality
This morning I went to shop at Woolworths Rosebank Mall.
I purchased my usual Friday Groceries and few items from the food section including jams, honey, coffeè and olive oil.
I don’t usually fill the plastic bags especially when it comes to carrying a glass-made containers like today, and I was deliberately asked for more bags so each one won't be overloaded.
When the cashier pulled the 1st bag it was broken, the handle of the 2nd bag cut by the time she lift the bag (contents was under 1Kg), and when I shared my concerns regarding the quality she just reassure me that this is just normal and thr rest of the bags are 100% fine.
My hope was smashed with the poor quality of Woolies' bags, as I walked away towards the top parkikg (Opposit to Game Store) and not even 30m from Woolies door, 2 of the woolies plastic bags handles broke and most of the items smashed on the pavement. I've lost my jams, honey, caffee and olive oil items.
I was very frustrated as I didn't only lost my items but also created a dangerous environment to the rest of people walking on that area.
I know talking to people at store won't be helpful and decided to share my frustration on HelloPeter.
The quality of Woolies plastic bags was very poor. And I can't understand their staff ignorance when I shared my concerns regarding the quality of their bags.
Who is responsible for the product damages that I had today? I lost 6 items of my product (X2 Bonne Maman Jams value R58 each, X1 Jacobs coffee value R110, X1 Coratina Oil value R120, X1 Rose's lime drin value R43, and X1 WW Seasonal honey value R77) so in total I lost R466 because of this incidence.
I've been a loyal customer for this shop since 2015.
