I bought school shoes in January but now I have problem with I want to make them back and Woolworths refuses

I had bought school shoes in January this year the way the shoes have turn out they look like I bought last year so I went to pavilion to return then since it's not even 6 months with this shoes but they said I can't change them since I don't have receipt for them. I also buy things from Woolworths but never had this experience in my life. The lady that was helping refused to take them back and she was very rude to me.
