Horrific service

We bought groceries online from Woolworths for convenience sake.

We chose for our groceries to be delivered yesterday 30 January 2017 between 10 and 1.

My husband got a call from our gate at 16:15 to say that they were there to deliver our groceries (apparently there was a mix up). I'm not sure what the mix up was because I got an sms at 07:13 in the morning to say that my delivery was on it's way. Needless to say no one was home to receive the delivery hence us requesting the delivery time that we did.

I phoned Woolworths online and the lady was suppose to let me know what the mix up was, almost 24 hours later and no response.

I then phoned again this morning 31 January 2017 and spoke to another lady who advised that our groceries was delivered yesterday (Monday), which was not the case I can assure you. When I advised her of what had happened she was going to find out why the mix up the day before and where my groceries was at this current time because there was clearly not updated information on their system.

It is hours later and no reply from her either.

I then eventually phoned my domestic who confirmed that Woolworths delivered the groceries at 11:30 today, Tuesday.

No one advised me that the groceries was now delivered or why the mix up the previous day.

My husband had to stop at the shops yesterday to buy some groceries seeing as we depended on the delivery of our groceries on Monday. So where was the convenience in this whole exercise?

My other concern the freshness of of our fruit and vegetables seeing as it was apparently stuck in a van all day yesterday.

I am terribly disappointed in Woolworths who has always shown the best customer service until now
