Horrible experince at Woolworths cresta

Hi

I am unhappy with the service that I got from woolworths cresta mall.

This happened on Monday 8 May just as they were about to close.

I had went to purchase a few things for my child who was going to go to a school trip, The lady who was helping me said she can not assist I believe her name is Salome, very rude I should say, the reason for her excuse for not wanting to assist is that my card was blurry and said she cant see clearly the initials on my card and everything else was visible including the barcode. I explained to the lady that I have my ID with me cant she use that to verify that I am the owner or atleast call head office to verify because I really needed to buy those items for my child.

She continued giving me an attitude saying they are about to close and there is nothing they can assist with, I asked for the manager who came through I believe his name is Norman, also him he didn’t take my complaint serious even said I must take their names if I want to because they cant help me I must open another card if I want to be assisted and they can’t call headoffice.

Treating The Customer fairly was not practiced at all, the manager’s body language said everything, ‘you are wasting our time’ kind of attitude. I was very much shocked how can a whole people who are meant to be professional be doing such to their customer.

With so much desperation I left and had to make other means for my child and left the store and I did express that I was not happy with how they treated me and they didn’t care and the manager asked that I leave my ID number, I felt as if I was a ******** in that store with how I was treated, very unprofessional individuals who don’t deserve to be serving woolworths customers at all.

The following day I went to Woolworths by Cresta crossing (blackheath), I was assisted by a very friendly lady I just forgot her name I think its Pakamile who assisted, she did say that it wasn’t a problem I was supposed to assisted with no hustles at cresta woolworths, even the store manager came and was happy to assist. I will not be recommending anyone to visit the cresta branch they are worried about the knock off time and not helping customers and treating them with respect and not making them feel like a bunch of ********s.
