horrible customer service

<p>I saw a clothing item on Woolworths website and decided to call Woolworths Cresta to find out if they have stock.</p> <p>When I got through I requested to be transferred to the female clothing section. Jingle in the background and some guy answers….turns it’s the wrong department. I again requested to be transferred to the female clothing section and a lady answers the phone. I explained that I wanted to find out if they have stock for a particular David Jones Skirt....., she tells me that she is in the Country Road section and that this section is far from David Jones section…..she then says she has to get someone closer to the David Jones section to help. For about 3mins I was on the phone and she comes back and tells me that she can’t find anyone ….then she keeps quiet as if to say that’s about all she can do to help.</p> <p>I then asked whether there isn’t anyone who can check on the system or do they have to check manually and ONLY then does she say, ”oh, I can check for you” (you can imagine my shock). She checks and says there is no stock.</p> <p>I then asked if she is able to check on the system whether Clearwater and Northgate have stock. She asked the size and some moments later she says both stores don’t have stock and that there’s only four items left at other malls. I asked the name of the malls she mentioned 1 in Jabulani Mall and 1 in Mall of the South and 2 at a place called ‘the dot..or something like that . Anyway I asked her where “the Dot” is so that I can try locate the store….and her response was basically that she doesn’t know and she kept quiet (as if to say….i have to somehow figure it out). I guess she was waiting for me to request her to ask someone else to assist in that regard…anyway I decided not to cause at this point I was just really annoyed.</p> <p>Unfortunately I do not have the lady’s name (all I know is she spoke a bit of Tswana at some point during the conversation)</p> <p> </p> <p>I’ve always rated Woolworths Cresta as one of the best but after this incident…..i was left with nothing but great disappointment</p>
