High interests

Woolworths I trying to pay back the credit card that you once gave me but its difficult as am told that the interest is R550.From last year April I agree that I can afford to pay R500 every month.I have so far made 16 payments if I am not mistaken.Cant you lower your interests please cos the way they are structured it would make it impossible for me to close this account.
