Grilled Chicken of bad quality

Below an extract of a mail sent to Woolworths Customer Service on 7th November '17, to which I have receive no response. Proves my point, Woolworths was hoping this customer is going to jump up and down with joy for the R100 refund she received ... "I do not believe that there was confusion on my part with regards to the gift card, as there was no e-mail or communication from Woolworths whatsoever with regards to needing proof of medical bills in reference to this case. The only request I got was for the doctor’s report to send to your public liability insurer. If I as the customer just accepted the R100 gift card and gone about my business, I do believe that Woolworths would’ve considered this case closed. The reason for notifying Woolworths of the complaint in the first place was not to get my money back, it was for Woolworths as a reputable store priding itself on the quality of their goods, to take ownership for the discomfort, inconvenience and loss of work hours both my husband and I experienced following consumption of foods bought at one of your stores. Do not assume that all your consumers are happy to receive compensation and will leave it at that, and then if questioned, Woolworths makes you think you are confused. Why did you not send an e-mail update advising that you need proof of medical expenses to further investigate, but in the meantime dear customer, we’ll send you a gift card as compensation for the product.
