Gift cards useless at Woolworths Food Stops

Not sure what it is about customer service in 2015 but I have had shoddy experience after shoddy experience. I have written more HP complaints this year than all previous years combined.<br> <br> It was with huge disappointment that I learned that Woolworths Food Stops at Engen do not accept Woolworths Gift Cards, They do take your Woolies rewards card but not the gift card. Perhaps if Woolies responded on Hello Peter, they would realise the bad service experiences that potential customers are getting.<br> <br> I was planning to indulge in Ice Cream (buying a tub) and some Swiss Rolls. Unfortunately, I left those items there because I am not going to pay the exorbitant prices out of my pocket. In the end, I had to resort to indulging in some M&Ms (peanut Butter flavour), a peanut butter sandwich and a Tinkie with milk. The experience was less enjoyable but satisfied my sweet tooth craving for the night.<br> <br> The fact that one card is not accepted at a Food Stop while another is, suggests that Woolworths has much to learn about customer experience. They might feel that winning the Orange Index is good enough but there is much they can learn about true customer centricity.
