Woolworths gift card ****.

I recieved my refund via gift card for a purchase and I wish I hadn't opted for the gift card. I thought It would be convenient but boy was I wrong.

Their website was slow and was having technical issues. So at first I was able to checkout then upon payment it was hanging. So what then came after was a message that I should contact customer support. Which I did, first the lady said its not blocked and that she needs to speak to her supervisor. She then called back to say its blocked. which was weird to me....

Also you need to wait 10 days to use it again, yet you are not told of these when you get it also the website has no t&cs or prompts regarding blocking the card and that everytime you try again it adds another 10days onto that initial count down.

Dont get it, rather opt out and get your money refunded back to your card. Also the consultant advised that they had reported the issue, but nothing was done... So obviously Woolworths is not worth the glory they are given.

All this technology and Ackermans still has a much better shopping experience to offer online....

So never again.
