Funeral cover that was never paid off

Hi My husband past away last year on the 10th of July 2021 and before he past away he told me that when he past away I must go to the nearest woolworths to claim his feneral cover or life cover. I did so and go to kolonade woolworths to claim and I gave them all the documents that were needed and the lady that was helping me she faxed everything to the head office. And she gave me the numbers that I should call to follow up, I did follow up with no luck until now. I'm still waiting for woolworths to get back to me. I burried my husband painfully without those funds he told me to use them when ever he dies. I'm still in shock because he trusted woolworths with all his heart. That money was gonna help me to burry my husband with dignity. I need help with this case cause I will have to pay people who helped me to do the whole ceremony of his funeral.
