I received my monthly statement on the 28th of February 2017 which has the 14th of January to 11 Feb transactions. To my surprise I realised that AGAIN my account has been de*****ed as it has transactions that I am not aware of. These transactions are worth more that R10k. The first incident was reported by me around August 2016 and was resolved, I think it was October 2016. I was told to continue making payments whilst case is being investigated. I was also issued with the new card and was told to use my ID each time I make a purchase, which has been the case. I need Woolworths to explain how these transactions took place as I have my card as well as my ID with me. Complaint was logged at the branch on the 01/03/2017. I can't understand a company as big as Woolworths will not have processes in place to prevent such incidents. One will assume that they would have implemented an instant messaging system alerting customers of transactions made or maybe something should trigger on the system should irregular spending be detected taking into consideration technology existing in this day and age. I am very dissapointed at the fact that one can only report these matters to the branch meaning on top of everything that has happened one has to drive to the store , stand in the queue, wait for more than an hour whilst they phone the ***** department, ***** department will then instruct the staff member at the branch to fax the statement and not being given the turnaround time as to when this matter will be resolved only to be told to wait maybe 25 days before I go back to the branch to query the status of the investigation. I really need Woolworths to clean up this process, Allow you customers to use technology that they have at their disposal to report such matters and also get your Risk personnel people to implement measures to sort out this mess. I call this a mess after seeing a big file at your Westgate branch with cases similar to mine. I need Woolworths to understand the emotional distress that this has caused, financial implications as a result of the ups and downs reporting and checking status of the investigation as well as time wasted. Whist I am aware that this incident was as a result of a ********** accessing my account, we can argue if it is internal or external however I am yet to get an apology for the first incident from your company. I would also like to give you a tip, of check your hard drives for any unauthorised gadgets that ********** uses to get customer information as I have realised that with the first and the second incident I had used the same terminals to make purchases at your Westgate branch. I am very afraid that if *****eters can access my account, they also know where I live, they have all my personal information which were obtained from your systems. HOW SAFE AM I!!! IT IS SO SCARY PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS i AM PLEADING WITH YOU.
