Food Poisoning

Dear Woolworths Customer Care,

I am writing to formally raise a serious concern regarding a food safety issue I experienced after purchasing and consuming a cheese grilled pastry from the hot pie section at Blue Route Mall yesterday.

This was the only item I ate that day. Within a few hours, I began to feel nauseous, and by that evening I was violently ill with repeated vomiting, severe diarrhea, and stomach cramps. The symptoms were so severe that I was unable to keep any food or fluids down until the following morning, when I finally managed to sip water.

This experience has caused me significant distress, discomfort, and disruption, and it is clear that the product I purchased from your store was not safe for consumption. Given the seriousness of this incident, I believe an investigation into your food handling and safety standards at this store is urgently required.

I would also like to request compensation for the harm and inconvenience caused, as this experience was both physically and emotionally distressing. Please advise me on the process to have this matter resolved promptly.

I can provide further details of the product, purchase time, and medical symptoms if required, and I am willing to cooperate fully with any investigation your team undertakes.

I trust Woolworths will treat this complaint with the seriousness it deserves. I look forward to your urgent response.

This is the exact email I sent to Woolworths exactly a week ago today and they have not even had the decency to respond or recognise my distress or the fact that I could have ended up in hospital.

I am so disgusted at Woolworths!!
