Few Halaal products
I would just like to express my extreme dissapointment in the Woolworths brand.I have been a client of woolies for so many years. I was shopping this weekend and discovered that nearly everything I wanted was not halaal endorsed. I wanted some buns- Not halaal, I tried some take away foods - Not halaal. I wanted some pickle fish - Not Halaal. I had a look at some of the baked goodies - most not halaal, only the mini frosted doughnuts were halaal. even some of the milkshakes and yoghurts were not halaal. the only thing I managed to buy on the day was the woolies brand milk that is halaal as well as green split peas. Im not sure why the variety of halaal goods are so limited. Does Woolies primarily cater for Christians and not for the Muslim and Juwish customers? I felt so dissapointed that I could not but half of things on my shopping list. Woolworths speaks of the woolworths difference, what difference is woolworths making in my life if I canoot even shop there. As a loyal client I was beyond sad.
