Fatty Gammon

i went to one of the Woolworths Food Stores in our area looking for their "3 Christmas Meats" pack and since they were sold out i ended up at the Lakeside store. they had quite a few packs left on the shelf so i took my time looking for the best one out of the lot. as i was about to make my way to go and make the purchase, one of the male employees came and "assisted" by recommending a different pack that appeared hidden right at the back of the shelf. the 1st thing i noticed was that the piece of silver side corned meat was much smaller than previous years but the piece of gammon in the pack handed to me was much bigger than any of the others i looked at before. so i went and made the purchase only to find out the next morning, while cutting through the gammon that it had more fat than meat to it, ratio of approximately 80% fat to 20% meat. you can imagine my disappointment. i cannot help but feel that i would've been satisfied with the purchase had i taken the original pack before i was "assisted" by that young man. this is the 1st time that have been disappointed by Woolworths.
