False promises on specials

I am so disappointed in Woolworths Laguna Mall.I bought a rottisery chicken on Saturday 9th of April then the assistant Esmelita advised me that they would have a special on the rotissery chicken between 9am and noon o Sunday.When I got there for the special I was advised by Esmelita and the Manageress Bonita that the special approval did not materlise from Head Office.I was so dissapointed as we prefer woolworths chicken over KFC.However the situation was dealt with very professionally but I just hate disappointments especially by a hugh company like woolworths.Good customer service also comes from a good Manager Managing a store and to use their own initiative as the Manager was standing by the counter and was aware of the suppose to be special.As a managet are we going to honour the customer regarding a promise or let the customer leave disappointed????
