False & Misleading Advertising in the store.

The Woolworths store in Herm**** Cape Town advertised 3 golf T-shirts for the price of 2. When proceeding to pay for the items the store cashier requested either a - my school card, my Woolworths account card or a - my rewards card none of which i had. I advised that i did not possess any of the cards mentioned and just wanted to buy the offered shirts as advertised. i was advised that the advertised discounted items were only available to mentioned card holders and if i wanted to be a recipient of the discount as advertised (the offer ) that i would be obligated to fill out a form and apply for a Woolworths rewards card. A cursory perusal of the form indicates all one`s personal details which includes one`s ID number. The advertising is misleading; if the store wants to advertise any discounted items to only the my school card, the Woolworths store account card holders or the rewards card holders it must indicate the same on all the advertising boards. I was drawn into the false and misleading adverti*****t which is probably a stint to later illicit one`s private information in the expectation of perpetuating the false ads to shrewdly broaden its customer base.
