FALSE ADVERTISING

Here is a direct copy & paste of a message I received from woolies - "A R1000 Woolies voucher could be yours Mrs M Hart, when you successfully apply for your Woolies Credit Card by 17 July. " And here is the message on the website -

Want to style up for winter with this season’s must-haves? We’ll give you R1000 cash to shop whatever you want, wherever you want, when you successfully apply for a Woolies Credit Card. Get a Woolworths Credit Card by 30 June, shop with your Woolies Credit Card, download the Woolies app, and we’ll load R1000 cash onto it for you to spend.

My application was approved on Monday & today I collected my card from Cradlestone. And then when I enquired about the R1000 voucher I get told that no sorry, I will need to wait until next week Wednesday because woolies only releases vouchers every Wednesday.

Will someone please explain to me or show me where this is communicated or stipulated ? This is false advertising and a false impression is been created by Woolies. The impression been that you will receive a R1000 voucher once you have a successful application and the app downloaded - THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT THE CASE !!!
