False advertising

I bought 2 Tuscon rub chickens from Woolworths Watermyer. The stickers on both chickens said that if you buy 2, then you will get 50%off the cheapest one. I Paid full price for both and only realised this when I got home and unpacked my groceries and checked the slip. I went back today with my slip and told Marius what happened and then she first said that the price already showed the 50% off. I told her that this was not true as a chicken could not have cost R210!!! Then another employee from Woolworths, went to fetch a chicken to show her. She then went on to her computer and wrote down the code which she would have supposedly used for my refund. Then she said something to the guy that fetched the chicken in their language, which I also think is rude, because in the company I work for, we speak English not to exclude anyone from a conversation who does not understand Sotho, Zulu or Afrikaans. She then asked me if I still had the barcode, because they need to scan the barcode in order to give me a refund, which is also absolute nonsense. I told her that I still had the chicken in my freezer at home, but why am I being inconvenienced to drive all the way home again to fetch the chicken so they can scan the barcode, when it was clearly their mistake. She just said that it wasnt her mistake, beacause she didn't work at the till that day. This is unacceptable service and misleading pricing from Woolworths. And how was such an *********** person with no sense of responsibilty, common sense or any leadership s****s appointed as a manager?
