Failure to execute a simple task of locating items in store

<p>I am very dissappointed with woolworths customer service and communication from store to store. This past sunday the 14th of May 2016 I went to the Mall of africa with my husband to purchase a males studio jacket. The size on the floor was not the correct fit. We then requested that a correct size be located and shipped to the Mall of africa. Sfundo from the information desk was asked to fascilitate this process telephonically with the other stores. Fourways was identified on the system to be having the highest stock. As a result it was called. Fourways advised the item is at the stock room from which the item will be sourced the next day. To my suprise, Sfundo called me the following day to say Fourways turned out not to have the jacket at all. Sfundo then ambarked on a search to locate the jacket in the entire province. He came back to me on Tuesday to say he has failed to find it accross the entire province and country for that matter..But for some reason I decided to take effort and drove to woolworths Cresta branch on the same Tuesday afternoon and to my shock I found the jacket of the axact size we were looking for seating at the correct studio male section hung along with the same studio jackets of its kind. I couldn't understand how this jacket was missed. I called Sfundo from the Mall of africa this morning to inquire if he was sure when he said he searched everywhere. I even spoke to his manager Lucas. He insists that Cresta was called and said the jacket is not there. Speaking to Lucas, Sfundo's manager, he explained that when they call other stores, sales guys on the floor get reluctant and lazy to put effort to locate an item on the floor. This I honestly don't understand. How else can items be located if there is such laziness? It took me 2min to step into Cresta, went up to the studio section male area and found the jacket hung up. What could be so complicated for woolworths staff to do that while on duty on the floor? This is unaccaptable . Can this be addressed.</p>
