Excuses, excuses
I ordered something on the Woolworths app, which has my address saved so I did not need to fill it in. I have ordered from it numerous times, deliveries always make it to my house. Yesterday a stranger phoned me to tell me that my package was delivered to her house. The right town, suburb and house number, but wrong street. I phoned customer service to complain and the extremely rude customer care agent told me that it was because the address was wrong on the system, apparently there was no area code. I had the box right in front of me and could see the right street number, street name, suburb and area code filled in. No matter what I said, she kept defending this point and would not accept that the driver had made a mistake. When a mistake is made, I do not want excuses. I want someone to apologize and say they will fix it. This was a huge mistake and it is unacceptable that I had to listen to this woman insist that I listen to her stupid response and insisting that I was wrong. I want to be phoned by a manager so someone can explain to me why this agent has apparently not had any training to speak to customers.
