Exchange goods

On the 8th I bought undies for my partner only to find out when I got home I took Medium instead of large… I went back same day to exchange to large they refused and it’s still in sealable packed with receipts.. Can someone from Woolworths please intervene as I know the policy but I only realized when I got home
