Exchange clothing

Good day To whom it may concern. I am writing this with great distress. So I got a few gifts (baby clothes) from friends in April for my son as I had just given birth it was during lock down level 5. Most of the items were duplicates. I then went to exchange them at Woolworths Westgate and I was told that returns will only be allowed during level 1.

Level 1 came and I returned the items to Clearwater Woolworths as I was near and I was told that it is old stock and they can't take it back as it's no longer in their system, when I asked what I should then do with all these clothes the lady rep**** and said I should just give them away.

I then proceeded and sent them an email stating the above, I got a response telling me that I contacted the Australia offices and I should contact the South Africa Woolworths and when I do I'm being told the same thing that it is winter stock.

I would like for Hellopeter to please help me so that I can just exchange these items as I can't afford to give them away as I too am now currently unemployed, and exchanging these items will really come in handy for me and my son.

There were other clothes from other stores and I didn't have any issues exchanging them eg. Jet, Ackermans and Edgar's these stores allowed exchange with no hustle.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
