Empty shelves now the norm

Hi Woolies!A lifelong supporter of you...becoming more and more annoyed supporter. Two things:I shop at Nicolway(close to work) and Comaro crossing(close to home).Without fail, from around 3pm till closing you CANNOT get as an example, strawberries, or other packaged fruits??Why is that? Are you too lazy to replenish for the clearly late workers/evening rush coming into your store or are you not ordering enough stock? Are you happy with your turnover on these areas and you dont need any more revenue here?I for one, have walked out of both these stores 3 times in this last week alone because all you are offering me is g****s.............I dont want g****s!and the fact that this is all that is left on the shelves, should TELL you that others dont want g****s, they want what you clearly sell out of the fastest!!C'mon!! Who are your buyers??If this was one branch,I would address with the manager but this is in at least two branches on opposite ends of JHB?!?! And cream...I can take a photo daily showing you how your shelf is completely empty of cream every day.I spoke to the Rashid at comaro after opening and I understand that itll take about two months to get the correct stock holding in place BUT you're failing in many areas and many stores so this is a head office problem.

The other thing,I have a sweet tooth for you lemon cheescake...yummy!Yesterday however,I was disgusted to see that you are charging me the same price for the same size tub BUT it was at least 1cm lower in volume throughout the whole thing.I know.Check my account.I buy them often so I am very aware of how full they have been in the past.So I put it back...but Im sure you wont feel it, you are making enough money as it is.

If you are not carefull, the masses will slowley start boycotting you purely on principal that you think we are naive and dont notice what you are supplying us.in these times, we have to look for value. You wont feel it though because you are big business and losing a few customers along the way is of no consequence to you.

PS Im also tired of the "buy 3 for X amount and save".I know you need to drive volumes but Im single and buying in bulk causes them to go off before i can consume. If, however, you where smart,I would buy more of the one portion offerings of veg(not the tiney packets mind you) as I go in on nearly a daily basis.

How i wish you had focus groups and listened to your consumers. There's a food *****s opening by me on my way home from work in a month.Your woollies, I drive in the opposite direction for an additional 5KM's to get to.I might just stop doing this and give more than I already am of my hard earned cash to Food *****s...maybe just come into your store for the 'exspensive treats'.Sad but true
