Do not buy a gift at trenery

Today was my 3rd attempt at returning a pair of shorts,purchased at trenery,that I received as a Christmas gift.<br> Initially I wanted to change the size of the shorts only to be told that nowhere in South Africa did they have my size available, so I asked for a refund.i explained it was a Christmas gift but was told that without a receipt all I was able to do was an exchange for another item.<br> Much to my embarrassment I know had to go to the person from whom I received the gift and ask them for the receipt.<br> Today I went to the store in cavendish,receipt in hand to get my refund.the date for a full refund, as stated on the till slip was 14/02/2015.on asking for my refund I was told that unless I had the card with which the item was purchased they could not refund me my money!!<br> <br> I ask you how am I supposed to get the card of the person who purchased me the GIFT!!<br> I was told this was store policy!<br> <br> I am sure by right I should be entitled to a full cash refund as the item had not been worn, had the tag still attached and I had a valid receipt stating the return date of 14/02/2015.<br> <br> Do NOT BUY ANYTHING AT TRENERY
