Dissapointing Service at Woolworths

To whom this may concern,

This is very unfortunate that I have to take the time to complain about poor service that I received from your Woolworths store @ Eden Meadows in Greenstone, before I raise the initial complaint I must firstly mention my fist bad experience that I had last week-end when I bought a box of Nartjies from the same store and when I arrived home I found 3 of the Naartjies in the box that were rotten, I was quite disappointed but didn't have the energy to drive back and cause a fuss, unfortunately I didn’t keep the slip or take pictures of the rotten Naartjies (to my regret),

Back to my initial complaint, today I visited your Woolworths Branch at Eden Meadows in Greenstone to buy Oranges, there was a promotion on them saying if you buy two packets you get R15 off so that is what I did (as per attached pic), I also bought a bottle of water with the two packets of Oranges, just before I reached the house my fiancée mentioned to me that on the slip it doesn’t show anything of a R15 discount and that I actually paid the full price of R18.99 each X 2, well I was rather annoyed about this and decided NOT to just let this slip like the previous week and drove straight back to Woolworths and spoke to the store manager (X Malulekha) who stated that the problem is actually with Woolworths Head Office who don’t load the specials correctly on the system, after long explanations and so forth he agreed to reimburse me with the R15 that was supposed to be taken off on my first visit, he also felt the need to offer me one packet of oranges for the inconvenience I guess,

Its common knowledge that people enjoy shopping at Woolworths Food because of the brand and insurance of quality products and service (Disappointing) I have attached the below for your perusal,

· Picture of the promotion in store

· Picture of both slips before and after complaint

In conclusion

This experience was very unpleasant for a loyal customer such as myself and family, and the thought of exactly how many other customers buy goods without checking their slips and not picking up that Woolworths promotions is actually non existing at times and that we are taken for a ride is terrible terrible customer service,

Let’s see how long Woolworths decides to respond to my complaint

Regards

Victor Lindecke

**********
