Dissapointed / Coutnry Road faulty jersey

I shop frequently for clothes at the Melrose Arch Woolworths and frequent the Country Road and Trennery departments. I bought a orange 100% wool jersey on a sale sometime last year and hardly used it. I happened to wash it once and have noticed holes appearing all over the garment. This is a first for me on any garment and I was surprised that this is 100% wool. I took it back to the country road counter on Saturday and the country road Manager said there is nothing that can be done as it was bought on a sale and its over six months and they wipe all the details off the system?????? Is this correct this is a fault in the manufacturing of the garment? Anyway I am disappointed as I shop frequently at Woolworths
