Dishonest Woolworths
This review is petty, but I had to write this after receiving this silly email from Woolworths. I am a loyal customer of Woolworths, especially their food because of the quality and packaging. I use the their Dash delivery service at least twice a week. I was disappointed recently by a series of events that just proved that even Woolworths has a dishonest side to their business. On one of my recent orders I order a Kiwi fruit punnet, the photo on the app shows 6 kiwis, locally sourced. I chose the option of 'no substitute' should the product be unavailable. When the order was delivered I received this tiny package of only 3 kiwis instead of 6, I went back to verify the product and it still showed 6 kiwis and not 3. I looked at my invoice, it matched the 6 kiwis product but only 3 were delivered.
Days later I receive an email from Woolworths to review some of the products on my order, the kiwis are on the list. I honestly review and indicate that their product photo is misleading. Woolworths decides the review is not fit to display on their website because it is negative, like what? so you only want people singing your praises.
Here's an excerpt from the email:
We’re afraid your review for Golden Kiwi Fruit Punnet was not approved for publishing.
We cannot publish reviews that contain any of the following: • Profanity and vulgar language • Nudity and ***ual contents • Promotional, irrelevant or misleading content • Inappropriate content (e.g. displays of *****ry, threats or harassment) • Conflicts of interest • Private information • Intellectual property violation • Customer service issues (please contact us on the below details for assistance)
I used no profanity, I wrote in one sentence that their product photo is misleading as it does not match the delivered product and to this they responded with this nonsense of an email. Talk about dishonest.
Another part of this dishonest practice, I shop almost 99% online from Woolworths, then they decide to give me a voucher which I cannot use online but only in store, why? I am an online customer if you want to reward me do it so I can redeem the voucher online.
