Disgusting service with bad attitude

I had a horrific experience at la Lucia mall today 02/11/2017 where I went into the woolworths at la Lucia as a relative bought my wife pants and a dress size 38 and my wife is actually size 36 and asked me to exchange it for her. When I got to the counter Kurt ferera clothing manager with a stinking attitude told me that he refuses to exchange the items because he said they were high price merchandise. What could possess woolworths to put in a condition that says if you buy expensive clothing you cannot exchange it? So we are only to buy cheap clothes in case they don't fit and we loose the slip or it's a gift?. I am highly frustrated and infuriated by this experience and had a customer who heard the whole interaction tell me he has exchanged 3 items at the branch before so what motivated this person to turn me away?
