Disgusting service from Woolworths!!!!!

I am writing on behalf of my mother. Woolworths is supposed to be considered high class and customer focused company but according to what my poor mother has been through with Woolworths I am disgusted and appalled!

My mother is in her 60’s and has a Woolworths credit card which she has in the passed few years taken very good care of. After being in hospital with DVT she told me there had been ********** activity on her account. That Saturday we called into the call center to advise of the ********** transactions on her card. The call center agent advised that he had immediately cancelled the card and advised her to go to the branch at Cresta to collect her new one after2 weeks. An sms was received saying she could collect her card and should bring her ID.

She did so, Only to be met with attitude and disdain when she did not have a copy of her proof of residence. She had severe arthritis in her hips and knees and still she begged the 2 women for 2 HOURS to help her. They told her to leave and only come back when she has a proof of residence .

This condition was not communicated by the call center agent at all or in the sms.

She is now getting harassing phone calls from Woolworths to pay her credit card off, consistently almost every day while still being in and out of hospital. She explains the situation to them and they have BLACKLISTED her!!!!!!

Woolworths , you WILL immediately remove her records from ITC and you WILL contact her to DELIVER her NEW card to her address. They will be NO payments on a card that was cancelled due to ********** activity. You will pull the recording from when we called it the call center and the consultant said the card was immediately CANCELLED!!!!!! If one more agent contacts her for payment on a cancelled ********** card again, I will be going to the police to lay a charge of harassment !

I CANNOT believe this service!!!!
