Disgusting service

If you are looking for good Customer Service DON’T go to Woolworths at East Rand Mall Johannesburg. I went there today between 10:10 and 10:30 to purchase food using my Discovery Miles voucher. I got to the till point and greeted the lady behind the counter and was met with silence. The lady behind the counter was too busy having a personal conversation with another lady. My groceries were rung up, packed by my husband and I handed the phone for the voucher to the lady. After attempting to scan or punch in the code, I said to the lady we could try the other voucher. After she had attempted that voucher a few times, she spoke to me for the first time by asking if I had used these type of vouchers before. The person she was talking to then attempted to assist. They called a 3rd person to assist without success. At this point I was livid and just told them to give back my phone and cancel the transaction. Only at this point did they attempt to speak to me by saying they would solve the problem. It was too late by then as I had waited over 5 minutes for a simple transaction to be completed and with barely any interaction from a Woolworths employee! Shocking
