Disgusting Customer Service
I have been living in the Western Cape for 3 and a half years, and recently moved back to Durban. I visited a number of Woolworths Food and clothing stores in the Western Cape-the experience in terms of customer services was beyond excellence-Langebaan and Vredenburg-AMAZING! Staff at these stores built relationships with customers. I experienced it personally, and witnessed others experience the same. YOU GUYS ROCK!
Then I go to the Chatsworth Store-my second visit on 27 September 2018. I am still in a state of shock. At the food till, my card and change was banged down on the counter. I thought I would have a different experience at the clothing counter-Not all. Same treatment. These were two very young girls that just did not care!!! This is what I would call unconscious service.
If I hand my card and cash in to the cashier's hand, I would expect that card and change to be handed back to me.
I went to the extent of asking if this was the norm, or a new procedure for Woolworths.
My rating for Customer Service for the Western Cape Stores out of 10 will be a 20. For Chatsworth-out of 10- will be -1
How does the Western Cape get their recruiting right?
Will someone care enough to up the level of customer service in Chatsworth Woolworths!
