Disgusted with the quality of Woolworths product (shoes, in particular, and their customer care and aftercare service)
Around the end of October 2017 I bought Navy Edition High Top shoes (style number ********** 64) at the Woolworth's store at the Glen, at the beginning of December 2017, these shoes are now starting to tear around the sole (barely, 2 months later). I took them to Woolworths Sandton to let them know of this situation. They said that they will send it to the technician/ technologist, don't know the right terminology to check why this has transpired. They wrote an email to them: feedback details: ********** 2- ********** 20 on customer feedback express (PROD), am reading this from email: customer resolution details (what was done for the customer) 'advised the customer that is not the quality, the shoes were worn for more than two months'. I received no feedback until at the end of December I went back to the Sandton store to find out what the feedback was and they called a Mellisa from the Head Office on 29/12/2017 who them feedback that says, as per email received 'the shoes show signs od heavy wear, store should not have accepted then'. I also have a copy of that email and will scan it in to this experience. So this to me means that Woolworths is saying to me that the shoes quality should last two months or less and the customer experience was less than disgusting, for lack of a better word. Next time I decide to shop I will remember that woolworths products should be worn less than two months and not regularly, and that is their quality promise
