Disgruntled and Dismayed
A bought a Levis tracksuit at Woolworths a while back but because i wear uniform at work i only got to wore it on the 30th of October to a work team building. When i came back home that night i noticed the tracksuit had lint in between the thighs, i was so shocked as to how can a R2000 tracksuit from Woolworths have lint when they emphasise about the quality of the products they sell to consumers every chance they get. On the 3rd of December i took the tracksuit back to Woolworths Canal Walk to exchange it and I spoke to the Fashion Manager by the of Chadwin. What an unpleasant experience, the tone and manner in which he spoke to me was unacceptable. But all in all he told me i would be assisted without a till slip although i still had the tags. He promised to call the store in which i bought the tracksuit from to get the slip and promised to call me back with back within a day or two which he did not do. I called Woolworths head office myself on the 05/12 and eas advised that someone from the store would call me again with a resolution. I spoke to a lady by the name of Roshana who was very arrogant and had no interest in what the issue was about all she told me was that she got an email from head office and was attending to the complaint. I asked her why was not Chadwin calling and her instead? Her response was “he went home, whats the problem with me calling”. On the 07/12 i called head office again and was told that they could not override what the store says. How is far that i buy an item from Woolworths and be told it can not be returned even if its a quality issue because its branded, never mind the fact that i still have the tags?
Im so disappointed by the treatment from Woolworths canal walk managers and the level of service in general. Never again!! Im even going to close my account with them.
