discusted in people not doing their job

<p>I had a account with woolworths a few years ago, so I decided to close the account.</p> <p>So in may 2014 I went to woolworths in westcoast mall and asked the lady behind the counter I would like to know whats the balance on my account to close it, she informed me that there is a amount of R1200 on there.</p> <p>So I payed the out standing R1200 and told the lady in the shop if my account is clear she can close it and cut up my card, few seconds later my card were cut up by her and she assured me my account is closed.</p> <p>Now exactly 2 years later I get messages from MBDCS telling me woolworths handed me over because of my account that is in arrears by R500 and some odd cents,(no statements or phone calls), really does it take 2 years to let some one know they are in debt and secondly I have cleared my account so how can I be in arrears?????</p> <p>WOOLWORTHS I have phone numerous times and no one gets back to me, HOW CAN I BE IN ARREARS WHEN MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN CLOSED BY ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES IN STORE???????????????</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
