************** against Elderly and persons with disabilities

I have raised this matter with various branch managers and have completed your surveys raising this issue but it seems to fall on deaf ears. It seems Woolworths has illuminated the elderly and persons with disabilities as target audience

The matter I am raising is that of your isles in the food section leading to the tills. They are so narrow that a person with a walker or even a wheelchair could not maneuver through to get to the tills. There is insufficient space

Your competitors have managed to get this right and have even allocated tills for those with disabilities. I who use a cane and at times a wheelchair cringe at the thought of doing my shopping at any of your stores that I have visited None of the stores cater to this! This is **************!

In fact I need to applaud your branch manager at Table Bay mall who during lockdown saw me standing in a very very long queue (breaking out in pain and tremors) that he, without making me feel singled out or people staring st me, pulled myself and another abled lady from the queue and took us to cosmetics counter to pay for our goods. He even ensured I had a trolley for my items which were in a basket

I ask you that you review your isle spacing to catering for the elderly and disabled. We too, would like to purchase our items at your store but it seems that if it is too busy I rather go to your competitor who has made provision with there lines as well as opening up a till for us
