Disappointing Experience at Woolworths Maponya Mall

I recently visited the Woolworths store at Maponya Mall, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. As a loyal customer, I expected better service, but here’s what happened:

Coupon Confusion: I had a coupon issued from Huuray—a gift card worth R350. Excited to use it, I presented it at the checkout. However, instead of a smooth transaction, I was met with confusion. The staff asked for the original email (which I provided), but despite my efforts, I was given the runaround. It’s disheartening when something as simple as redeeming a coupon turns into an ordeal. Card Woes: To add to the frustration, I have a Woolworths card linked to my online profile. However, it’s practically unusable. It seems the card works for rewards only, not for actual purchases. Fixing this issue has been far from easy. Woolworths, please take note: Customer experiences matter. We expect better, especially from a reputable brand like yours.
