Disappointed Experience - WW Menlyn

I am or rather was a regular shopper to the Menlyn branch. I work in the centre and as I only start at 09:00 I visit and purchase almost daily for the last 7 years. I have noticed the new staff in the Store over the last few weeks are not trained, rather rude and arrogant. Most of the staff know me well and greet me daily. Today I picked up something on the sale rack that was not marked (in fact numerous items different sizes) and together with the item I was also purchasing headed to the tills to ask for a price. I was informed it was part of a set and I could therefore not buy it. Not my problem that this kind and several more have landed on the sale rack. Disappointment...just gotta live with it. Then the item I want to purchase for R79 is charged to my account which was not the original intent but thought well I have credit so it wont be an issue. There is not a clear signature on the back of my card and have tried to resign to no avail. The cashier then asks for my ID and after informing her I don't carry it as I was recently ******, she then informed me the sale could not take place. I fully understand the security check and appreciate it but then asked her to get a Manager to verify that they know me. Well that was a real effort. Along comes the Manager profusely apologising and asks if she can check in the Storeroom for the second item of the 2 part set. By now I am no longer interested as the cashier could have asked same. I requested a refund as my need to have the other item was no longer a pleasure. On turning around to leave the store I noticed 2 floor Managers metres away who I am sure heard the whole conversation and did not bother to intervene. These Managers know me. I addressed to them that I was disappointed in their lack of interest and informed them that as of today I am boycotting WW Menlyn. There are plenty of other stores that deserve my hard earned money. They did not even bother to entertain a reply. Sadly I am one who can easily boycott a store and maybe this will be to my advantage in that I will no longer be that impulse buyer and save some money.
