Disappointed Consumer - Too many calls
<p>I am a regular woolies shopper, especially on the baby clothes. On the 9th of August I went to woolworths Greenstone Mall to buy my groceries and decided to buy some baby clothes as they were having their winter sale. I found a beautiful pink dress for my baby and the sale price stated the R100 on the tag. I paid for my shopping including the groceries and left a happy customer, knowing very well that Woolworths is my trusted store and have never had issues. When I got home I put all my till slips together and looked through them for tracking purposes. I was surprised to see that I had been charged more than what I had see on the price tag for the dress. On the 11th of August I called the customer care line and queried about the policy regarding this matter as I could not head to the store, the lady assured me I would get a call from the Greenstone Woolworths branch manager to follow up on the matter. I did not hear anything from them and gave them a call again on the 16th of August and the consultant this time was in shock that no one had called me up until now and made a note and was told someone would call me. Today I still did not receive a call so I called again to follow up with a 3rd phone call and this consultant told me that it was noted that someone called me and told me to come to the store for a reimbursment. Please take note that I have/had not received any phone call from anyone telling me this, I had been waiting for a phone call. I was told no name was given as to who they spoke to with such a message but my phone is always on. So whoever made that note was not being honest. I am very disappointed with the way this was handled, at least customer could have followed up with the branch if they have contacted the customer or not. I deserve better service than this. There was no customer care at all!</p>
