Disappointed client
Good morning I bought milk (6 pack ) at Woolworths Jabulani mall on Sunday (20/09/2020) to my surprise today when I open one of the boxes of milk I find that it is off and the expiry date is 09/02/2021 so I am shocked as to how can it be off when it was only bough Sunday and it is not yet expired. Can I be assisted with this I am really not happy. This is a query I logged on 25/09/2020 I then received the below response till date nothing has happened i am really disappointed Dear Ms. Nhlapo Thank you for bringing your complaint regarding the box milk to our attention. The quality of all our products is Woolworths' first priority, and we appreciate it when customers take the trouble to let us know that a purchase has fallen short of our high standard. Following your complaint, we have conducted a full investigation with the manufacturer which involves detailed investigation of all raw materials involved in producing the box milk, all processes in the factory and all quality assurance processes. However, off tastes, colour and smells as mentioned does indicate possible temperature abuse or damaged packaging of the product. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to determine where the temperature abuse/packaging damage could have taken place during distribution to stores. We will keep monitoring the situation. We will be sending you a refund of R100 via SMS ***) within the next 2 working days. Please present the SMS together with a form of identification to your nearest Woolworths store (excluding the Engen stores) in order to receive your gift card.
