Delivery ALWAYS late

There is a 3 hour slot that you can request delivery in. I have NEVER received my delivery on time nor had I ever had anyone call me to say they will be late or apologise for being late. What is the point of selecting a delivery window if you are going to deliver whenever you want anyway. Annoying! Last time I'm ordering online.
