Declined credit card transaction

I went to buy my son a set of 3 t-shirts on Thursday and according to them my card was declined. I only got a sms that the transaction went through. It is now Tuesday and my statement closed for the month. I still don't have the transaction as declined on my side, but they refuse to give me the goods, even after I gave them a stamped bank statement which I pay a lot for!!!
