damaged goods

I was shocked today when I went to woolworths in hillcrest to return 3 garments because of factory fault. 1 was fading colour and 2 were torn yet brand new. Sharon D the manager told me they cnt accept bcz the garments were on sale and the date to return was the 7th of April. But my problem I had proof of purchase all still under 1month. Sharon took the clothes but told me it wil be sent to cape town and she knows for sure that they wont credit me. So I must wait for a month to hear the outcome. All I want is to be credited.
